Create is our new version of WordPress replacing the current campus WordPress service, https://blog.richmond.edu. All currently active sites on https://blog.richmond.edu will be required to move to the new server this coming Fall 2025. Very little work is required from users as most of the move will be done on the back end, however you may need to make adjustments to your theme if it is no longer supported by WordPress.
If you would like to retain your WordPress site going forward, please fill out the form located at https://create.richmond.edu/request/and choose the Transfer Existing Site option, then paste your currently existing site address (e.g. blog.richmond.edu/mysite) into the Transfer field.
Please note that blog.richmond.edu will be sunset at the end of June, 2026. For additional questions please contact urblogs@richmond.edu.
