I must admit that whenever I see the calendar turn over to August, I get a bit of the August blues. It’s hard not to feel wistful about the end of the quieter days of June and July as we prepare for a new academic year. So, as we send out this first newsletter of the fall, I do so very gingerly and respectfully, understanding that you might not be quite ready to face the new semester just yet–as much as it brings its own rewards! I did, however, want to provide some resources and a preview of some upcoming events in case you have turned your mind in that direction.
