I hope that you’ve been able to get into the swing of the semester as we head into the third week (already!). I find that once the flurry of the first few weeks is over, we start asking, “How am I going to make progress on my scholarship goals this semester?” While we can’t do the writing for you, we can offer opportunities for community support and accountability. In addition to our writing retreats, we’ll be continuing writing accountability groups, and we’ll have a new writing challenge in October. I’m especially excited for the new Writing Workshop—a chance for people across campus to share writing and support each other’s writing process. On November 16 from 3:30-5:00 p.m., join us to talk about publishing in the Age of AI with Noah Springer, an editor from the MIT Press. Finally, be on the lookout for the next off-campus retreat in December—details are forthcoming.
