{"id":2419,"date":"2019-03-08T12:30:10","date_gmt":"2019-03-08T17:30:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.richmond.edu\/lawlibrary\/?p=2419"},"modified":"2023-08-31T11:51:50","modified_gmt":"2023-08-31T15:51:50","slug":"create-a-hand-written-electronic-signature","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/create.richmond.edu\/lawlibrary\/?p=2419","title":{"rendered":"Create a hand-written Electronic Signature"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With so much correspondence sent electronically, or virtually today, it&#8217;s important to have a signature block that is easy to insert into documents.\u00a0 With Microsoft Word, you have the tools to create a professional signature at your fingertips.<\/p>\n<p>Tools you will need:\u00a0 A fine black felt-tip pen, a white piece of paper, your cell phone (or iPad), and a computer with Microsoft Word.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sign your name on a white piece of paper.<\/li>\n<li>Take a picture of your signature with your cell phone.<\/li>\n<li>Crop the picture so it\u2019s only your signature.<\/li>\n<li>Email the cropped picture to yourself, or airplay\/Bluetooth the picture to your computer.<\/li>\n<li>Open the image and ensure it\u2019s a JPG file.
