The law library subscribes to several sources useful for supplementing what you learn in class.\u00a0 These include self-paced lessons, flash cards, summaries of the law, and many other sources students value to help learn the law.\u00a0 Following is an overview of the most popular collections, with descriptions of what they contain. With each service, once you create a personal account, you can use custom tools and access the resources anywhere you can access the Internet.<\/p>\n

Aspen Learning Library<\/a>.<\/strong> With over 900 titles, including Examples and Explanations, Emmanuel,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Glannon Guides<\/em>, there is sure to be something that can help you remember some of those details that you\u2019re fuzzy on as you prep for class and exams. Connect to the campus VPN<\/a> to access this resource from home.<\/p>\n

West Academic study aid package<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0provides access to\u00a0Nutshells<\/em>,\u00a0Short & Happy Guides<\/em>, and\u00a0Gilbert Law Summaries<\/em>.\u00a0Sign in\u00a0at home when you’re connected to VPN<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Spaced Repetition<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0provides a self-paced system to learn legal subject matter through flash cards you review for a few minutes each day.\u00a0 We subscribe to all Emanuel Law in a Flash card topics, some multi-state topics, and the system allows you to create your own flash cards, focusing on the topics and order of materials your professor uses.<\/p>\n

Quimbee<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0provides\u00a0short overview videos, multiple-choice questions and several types of self-paced learning tools, including content for all 1L as well as many upper-level subject areas.<\/p>\n

CALI Lessons<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0are computer-based, interactive tutorials that cover narrow topics of law. There are more than 1,000 lessons, covering every major topic in the law.\u00a0 They’ve also added lessons under the heading “Law School Success<\/a>,” which include tips on briefing cases, self-assessment and strategies for answering multiple choice questions.<\/p>\n

Lexis Digital Library<\/a>. <\/strong>The Digital Library holds a curated eCollection of Carolina Academic Press study aids<\/a>, including the Understanding<\/em> and Questions & Answers<\/em> series. You can even access a limited collection of audio books from the Understanding<\/em> series<\/a>.<\/p>\n
