Whether you&#8217;re using an e-textbook for exams, or looking to study on the go, set yourself up for success by making sure you can access your materials. Below are step-by-step instructions for various vendors:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Lexis Digital Library<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 3 []\"><u>How to download titles<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can download titles for offline use in the LexisNexis Digital Library app, Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. The number of titles you can download depends on the storage space in your browser\/device.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>How to use the digital library offline<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can read or listen to downloaded titles and access your annotations offline using the LexisNexis Digital Library App, Chrome, Firefox and Edge.<\/li>\n<li>Once you\u2019re offline, you can find all of your downloaded titles under <em>My Books &gt; Downloaded<\/em>, and access your annotations from <em>My annotations.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>If you make annotations in a downloaded book while offline, they\u2019ll sync when you\u2019re back online.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\" data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><strong>West Academic<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>Access Content Offline<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download the <em>VitalSource Bookshelf App<\/em>. VitalSource app allows you to read books offline and sync notes and highlights to help you study.<\/li>\n<li>Download the <em>West Academic Audio App<\/em> to listen to audio files offline. Audio app provides offline access to audio content and audio lectures.<\/li>\n<li>Titles in the West Academic Study Aids Collection are available for offline reading in the VitalSource app.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Getting Offline Access<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sign in to subscription.westacademic.com.<\/li>\n<li>Search and select the book you\u2019d like to read offline.<\/li>\n<li>Once in the book, click \u201copen in eReader\u201d to open the book in the VitalSource eReader.<\/li>\n<li><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: if this is your first time opening the VitalSource eReader, you\u2019ll be prompted to complete your VitalSource account. Use the same email used to create your West Academic account (your richmond.edu email address).<\/li>\n<li>Download the VitalSource Bookshelf desktop or mobile app and sign in.<\/li>\n<li>In the VitalSource app, select the title you want to read and download the book while connected to the internet.
