April is Arab American Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the rich history, culture, and contributions of Arab Americans to the legal profession and beyond. Arab American lawyers, judges, and scholars have played a vital role in shaping U.S. law, advocating for civil rights, and contributing to legal scholarship in diverse fields. This month provides an opportunity to recognize their achievements and explore the legal traditions of the Arab world.<\/p>\n

This is also a wonderful time to highlight the National Arab American Bar Association (NAABA)<\/a>, which seeks to foster connections among Arab American lawyers, judges, and law students. Membership is free for law students, and the association offers networking and mentorship opportunities for Arab American law students, legal professionals, and established attorneys within the NAABA community. If you are interested in getting involved in the Arab American legal community, this is great place to start!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

At Muse Law Library, we are celebrating this month with a featured collection on our second-floor bookshelf (next to study room 261!).
