Legal research is a cornerstone of every law student\u2019s practice-oriented education, but there\u2019s no single \u201cright\u201d way to do it. Mastery comes through trial and error, as each student develops their own shortcuts, preferences, and strategies.<\/p>\n
Still, there\u2019s real value in hearing how others have navigated the same challenges. Students who have sharpened their research skills often have tips and approaches that can save you both time and frustration. Also, it’s good to celebrate (and commiserate) the highs (and lows) of solving a tough research tasks with good company.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s why the Muse Law Library is once again hosting a panel of accomplished 3L student researchers to share how they\u2019ve constructed their approaches to legal research. Drawing on experiences as research assistants, journal members, legal scholars, summer associates, and more,\u00a0 these students will provide candid perspectives on the rewarding process of honing this essential skill.<\/p>\n
