The Practising Law Institute (\u201cPLI\u201d) has announced its <strong>second annual call for law student papers<\/strong>.\u00b9 The selected article(s) will be published in the <em>PLI Chronicle<\/em>, PLI\u2019s open-access periodical on PLI PLUS.\u00b2<\/p>\n<p>The reach is large in scope \u2026 PLI\u2019s audience includes more than 450,000 legal professionals, including 95% of Am. Law 100 firms and more than 900 nonprofit and public interest organizations. That is, a published piece puts your name in front of the practitioners, public interest leaders, and educators shaping the profession.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>This Year\u2019s Topic: <em>Access to Justice: Impactful Approaches<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">PLI wants student perspectives on access to justice initiatives\u2014possible topics include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Efforts by your law school community to address access to justice and provide civil legal services to low-income individuals;<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">The intersection of legal education and access to justice;<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Resources for law students interested in access to justice work or careers;<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">How access to justice initiatives are using emerging AI technologies; or<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Which access to justice initiatives look most effective from a law student&#8217;s point of view.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Submission Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong> Students currently enrolled in law school.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Materials:<\/strong> Your article, a brief r\u00e9sum\u00e9 or CV, your law school name, and your expected graduation year.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Length:<\/strong> 2,500 words maximum.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Format:<\/strong> Microsoft Word.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Citations:<\/strong> No footnotes, but hyperlinks to outside sources are welcome.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Generative AI Policy:<\/strong> Submissions must reflect your own original thinking and writing and may not be drafted using generative AI.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Submit to:<\/strong> <a href=\"mailto:plipress@pli.edu\">plipress@pli.edu<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deadline: Friday, Oct. 30, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Questions?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Research &amp;
