Graduating Senior: Jessica Kim
Some how we have arrived at April 9th. That means another academic year is almost over (and junior research leave is too! AH) and another set of students are graduating. I feel a special connection with the class of 2018 because I arrived on campus at the same time...
The Pollock lab utilizes chemical biology techniques, biochemical methods, and organic synthesis to understand breast cancer and inflammatory disease development and progression. In particular, we are interested in nuclear receptor function, phosphorylation signaling pathways, design of prodrugs, and the link between cancer and inflammation. We have a lot of collaborators on and off campus so we can expand our scientific discoveries.
