HHMI Science Symposium 2016
Two Pollock Lab students, Kiana and Maddie, presented their summer research at the HHMI Science Symposium at UR last Friday. Way to go!
The Pollock lab utilizes chemical biology techniques, biochemical methods, and organic synthesis to understand breast cancer and inflammatory disease development and progression. In particular, we are interested in nuclear receptor function, phosphorylation signaling pathways, design of prodrugs, and the link between cancer and inflammation. We have a lot of collaborators on and off campus so we can expand our scientific discoveries.
