We are officially on day 3 of the summer research period! I have 4 remarkable students – Hannah, Auden, Briseily, and Sonia – who will be pushing back the frontiers of science alongside me this summer. It is a strange summer for me because it is the first year since my very first summer that I have all new experimental students. Hannah is returning but she works on a computer-based project that we are hoping to share with you sometime soon! Anyway, that means it is a lot more of my hands in the lab training since I don’t have seasoned students to rely on. It has been fun so far; this is one of my favorite parts of the job.\u00a0<\/p>\n
