Maddie and I traveled down the road to VCU for the Virginia Academy of Science’s annual meeting. We listened to an interesting talk by Dr. Danielle Dick<\/a> on environmental and genetic factors that lead to substance abuse problems and the development of a new program to help undergraduates through their college years. After dinner, Maddie was awarded the Edward S. Harlow scholarship. Congratulations!<\/p>\n
