Summer Research 2026!!
Introducing the group for summer research 2026! We have two focuses in the lab this summer - cancer and bacteria - and we will be trying to kill them both as well as studying proteins that are important in them. We are hoping to get a number of projects wrapped up...
The Pollock lab utilizes chemical biology techniques, biochemical methods, and organic synthesis to understand breast cancer and inflammatory disease development and progression. In particular, we are interested in nuclear receptor function, phosphorylation signaling pathways, design of prodrugs, and the link between cancer and inflammation. We have a lot of collaborators on and off campus so we can expand our scientific discoveries.
